PowerBoost Breast Augmentation Technique

Engineered for Perfection: The PowerBoost Breast AugmentationFor those who desire a sculpted, lifted silhouette with dramatic fullness and superior longevity, traditional augmentation methods often fall short. They compromise support for placement, leading to premature settling and loss of definition. Welcome to the PowerBoost Augmentation: a surgically intelligent technique that doesn’t just place an implant—it builds a foundation for it.

The Philosophy of Structural Excellence

The PowerBoost technique is engineered for the woman who seeks a confident, front-and-center result. This approach is designed to create that coveted "push-up bra" effect—even when you're braless. We focus on constructing a powerful, internal support system that defies gravity, ensuring your results remain impeccably uplifted, full, and perky for years to come. Think of it as the architectural masterpiece of breast augmentation—designed for maximum impact and built to last.

How the PowerBoost Technique Locks in Your Results

By innovatively modifying the traditional dual-plane approach, we harness the body’s own anatomy to protect your investment. The key is a limited, strategic muscle release that provides critical advantages:

The Internal Support System: We preserve the integrity of your pectoral muscle to act as a strong, natural sling that cradles the implant. This powerful framework provides unparalleled lower pole support, dramatically reducing the risk of "bottoming out" and ensuring long-term stability.

Superior Upper Pole Fullness & Cleavage: By utilizing the muscle's support, we create the dramatic, voluptuous upper pole fullness and defined cleavage that mimic the ideal push-up bra look. The result is a lifted, confident profile that stands the test of time.

A Result That Ages With Grace: The PowerBoost technique is specifically engineered to combat gravity’s effects. Your results will maintain their beautiful, perky position far longer than with traditional methods, making it a premier choice for long-term satisfaction.

Is the PowerBoost Ideal for You?

This advanced technique is designed for the patient with a vision of a sculpted, uplifted aesthetic. You are the ideal candidate if you desire:

That classic "push-up bra" look with significant upper pole fullness, even without a bra.

Well-defined, dramatic cleavage.

A result that is highly supported and resistant to premature sagging.

You understand that the implant will initially sit higher and will gradually settle into its perfect, permanent position over several months.

The PowerBoost Augmentation is for those who believe that true beauty is built on a foundation of strength and precision.

FrenchAug Breast Augmentation Technique

Discover the FrenchAug: The Art of the Effortlessly Natural Breast AugmentationTired of the "done" look? Imagine a breast enhancement so subtle, so beautifully settled, that it moves and feels like it was always yours. Welcome to the FrenchAug, a refined surgical technique designed not to create dramatic volume, but to cultivate innate, natural elegance. The Philosophy of Undone Beauty

The FrenchAug technique is a deliberate departure from traditional methods. We move beyond the high, tight, and often artificial appearance associated with classic augmentations. Instead, we focus on creating a soft, teardrop silhouette that embraces the natural grace of the female form, lower, more settled, and exquisitely natural. This is the look of effortless Parisian style, the subtle enhancement famously favored by icons like Kylie Jenner. It’s not about obvious change; it’s about undeniable confidence.

How the FrenchAug Technique Redefines Your Experience

By placing the implant over the chest muscle, the FrenchAug method offers significant advantages that translate to a more comfortable journey and a superior aesthetic:

Zero Animation Deformity: With the implant positioned above the muscle, you will never experience the unnatural shifting, squishing, or distortion of the breast (known as "animation deformity") that can occur with under-the-muscle placements during activities like yoga, weightlifting, or even simple stretching.

A Dramatically Easier Recovery: Avoiding muscle dissection means significantly less post-operative pain and a much quicker, smoother return to your daily life and light activities.

A result that is highly supported and resistant to premature sagging.

A Truly Natural Drape: Freed from the constricting force of the pectoral muscle, the implant is allowed to settle gently into place, creating a soft slope and a gentle fall that mimics how natural breasts behave.

Is the FrenchAug Ideal for You?

This technique is perfect for the woman who values subtlety over statement. You are a candidate if you desire:

A small to moderate increase in size and volume.

A natural, "lived-in" teardrop shape without upper pole fullness.

A softer, lower breast profile without tight, defined cleavage.

A commitment to wearing a bra for optimal support to maintain the beautiful, settled appearance long-term.

The FrenchAug is the art of enhancement, honoring the body’s natural language to reveal a more confident, authentically you.
Schedule your consultation to explore if the FrenchAug is the key to unlocking your natural beauty.

Why breast augmentation Toronto with SixSurgery versus other clinics?
2CM Incision
30 Minutes
Shorter Recovery

One of the biggest concerns women have with breast augmentation is scarring and recovery time. At SixSurgery, our surgeons use advanced techniques to offer the Tiny Scar Breast Augmentation, designed to minimize scars, shorten surgery time, and speed up recovery.

Traditional breast augmentation can leave a 4–8cm scar. With our innovative approach, incisions are only 2cm for saline implants and 2.5–3cm for silicone. This means smaller, more discreet scars and results you can feel confident about.

The benefits go beyond scarring. Our refined technique takes just 30 minutes compared to the typical 1–2 hours and can be performed under local or general anesthesia. Recovery is also faster, with many patients returning to daily activities within 5–7 days and resuming more strenuous activity in about six weeks.

Are you a candidate for breast augmentation?

Breast augmentation is a deeply personal choice, and the right candidate is not defined by a “perfect body” — it’s about how you feel in your own skin. Women in Toronto choose breast implants for many different reasons, from restoring what was lost to enhancing what was never there.

Breast Deflation

Pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight fluctuations, and aging can all lead to breast deflation — loss of volume, shape, and firmness. Implants can restore fullness, creating a more youthful and lifted appearance.

Genetics

Some women are naturally smaller-chested or feel their breasts don’t match the rest of their figure. While completely normal, this may impact self-confidence. Breast augmentation offers a way to create the curves and balance you’ve always wanted.

Weight Loss

Congratulations! You have made the choice to prioritize your health and get into shape. Unfortunately for many, this also results in fat loss in the breasts. If you’ve achieved your health goals but noticed a reduction in breast size, augmentation can restore volume without compromising your results.

Asymmetry or Uneven Breasts

Many women have one breast that is noticeably larger, smaller, or positioned differently than the other. Implants can correct this imbalance, giving you a more even, proportionate silhouette.

Mastectomy

For breast cancer survivors, breast implants can help rebuild confidence and femininity by restoring natural-looking shape and fullness after mastectomy.
All of our patients must be in optimal health before going forward with the surgery

Maintain a healthy BMI under 30

Not be on immunosuppressant medication

No insulin-dependent diabetes (hospital setting may be required)

Breast Implant Decisions

There are many factors to consider with breast augmentation, and your consultation is the time to explore them all. At SixSurgery, we believe in empowering every patient with the knowledge needed to feel confident and informed. During your pre-operative consultation, you and your surgeon will work closely to design a customized surgical plan that reflects your vision and complements your body. By the end of this process, you will have selected the implant type, filler, width, volume, and shape that best achieves your goals. Here are some of the decisions you will be making:

Catered to You

Your surgeon will combine medical expertise with artistic vision to help you select the implant that best enhances your body. Together, you’ll consider key factors such as:

Your natural breast size and shape

The degree of sagging or drooping of existing breasts

Desired look – natural or fake

Your body shape and proportions

The quality of your existing breast tissue

Lifestyle and physical activity

Type of Breast Implant

When planning your breast augmentation in Toronto, one of the most important decisions is whether to choose silicone or saline implants. Both are safe, Health Canada and FDA approved, and can create beautiful results. One may be better than the other depending on the specific case.

Silicone Breast Implants (“Gummy Bear Implants”)

Silicone implants are filled with a cohesive gel that closely mimics the softness of natural breast tissue. Because of this natural feel, they are one of the most popular choices for women seeking breast augmentation.

Soft, natural texture similar to real breast tissue

Available in a wide variety of sizes and profiles

Lower risk of visible rippling compared to saline

Modern cohesive gel technology (nicknamed “gummy bear implants”) ensures strength and safety

Slightly higher cost than saline implants

Silicone implants are ideal for women who want the most natural look and feel possible, especially if they have less natural breast tissue to cover the implant.

Saline Breast Implants

Saline implants are filled with sterile salt water, a substance that occurs naturally in the body. The outer shell is made of durable silicone, but the implant is filled after it is placed inside the breast. This means the incision can be smaller than what is required for silicone implants.

Inserted empty and filled once in place, allowing for smaller scars

More flexibility for adjusting size and symmetry during surgery

Lower cost compared to silicone

Ruptures are immediately noticeable and the saline is safely absorbed by the body

Slightly firmer feel compared to silicone

Saline implants are a great choice for women who prefer a smaller scar, or who like the peace of mind of instantly detecting implant leaks.

Breast Implant Profiles

When choosing breast implants, both shape and profile influence how your results will look and feel. These factors affect fullness, cleavage, and projection — making them an important part of your breast augmentation journey.

Implant Shapes - Two Options

Round Implants – Symmetrical in all directions, round implants add fullness to both the upper and lower breast. They create a balanced, youthful look and are the most popular choice among women who want rounder cleavage and visible volume.

Teardrop Implants (Anatomical) – Designed with more volume at the bottom and a gentle slope at the top, teardrop implants mimic the shape of a natural breast. They are often chosen for a very subtle, natural-appearing enhancement.

While teardrop shaped implants provide a more natural look, most women prefer round implants for their balanced and full aesthetic

Implant Profiles

Selecting your implant profile will determine the projection of your implant, in other words, how far your breast will protrude from your body. Different profiles create different aesthetics:

Low Profile – Flatter projection, ideal for broader chests and patients seeking a subtle, natural look.

Moderate Profile – Balanced projection and width, delivering natural yet noticeable results.

High Profile – Greater forward projection with less width, creating fuller, rounder breasts and a more dramatic appearance.

What Determines the Best Profile for You

Your surgeon will recommend the right shape and profile based on:

The natural width of your breasts and chest

The quality of your existing breast tissue

Your lifestyle and activity level

Whether you prefer a natural look or a fuller, more dramatic enhancement

Breast Implant Profiles

At SixSurgery, we only use FDA and Health Canada–approved breast implants from the two leading manufacturers in the world: Allergan and Mentor. Both companies have decades of research, innovation, and proven safety records, making them the most trusted names in breast augmentation.

Allergan Implants – Known for their advanced “Inspira” line, offering a wide range of profiles, shapes, and silicone gel options for highly customizable results.

Mentor Implants – Manufactured in the United States, Mentor implants are praised for their durability, consistent quality, and natural look and feel.

Both manufacturers provide options in silicone and saline implants, with variations in density, profile, shape, and texture to suit different body types and aesthetic goals. Every implant comes with a warranty for additional peace of mind.

Breast Augmentation Incisions

Every breast augmentation requires a small incision to create a pocket for the implant. At SixSurgery, we use advanced techniques to keep scars as minimal and discreet as possible. Depending on your anatomy and goals, your surgeon may recommend one of three incision options:

Inframammary (Breast Fold Incision)

Transaxillary (Armpit Incision)

Periareolar (Areola Incision)

40% of procedures use the inframammary incision (breast fold)
40% use the transaxillary incision (armpit)
20% use the periareolar incision (around the areola)

What incision site is best for you?

Breastfold incision
The incision is made in the natural crease where the breast meets the rib cage. This is the most common choice because the scar is well-hidden under the breast and allows for precise implant placement.
Trans-Axillary incision
The incision is placed in the natural fold of the armpit. This option leaves no scars on the breast itself, and the scar is only visible when the arms are raised. It requires additional expertise.
Periareolar incision
The incision is made along the outer edge of the areola. Because the skin is naturally darker here, the scar blends with the color transition, making it less noticeable.
4

Placement

During breast augmentation, the surgeon creates a pocket where the implant will sit. This pocket can be placed above the chest muscle (subglandular) or below the chest muscle (submuscular). The placement you choose will affect how natural your breasts look, how they feel, and how they move with your body. This will also impact where they sit, and how they will look after a couple years of, gravity.

Above the Muscle (Subglandular)

Implant is placed directly behind the breast tissue and above the chest muscle.

Benefits: Shorter recovery time, less post-surgery discomfort, easier access for revision.

Considerations: May show rippling more in women with thin breast tissue, and slightly higher chance of capsular contracture.

Below the Muscle (Submuscular)

Implant is placed underneath the chest muscle.

Benefits: More natural contour, especially for women with less natural tissue; reduced risk of visible rippling; lower risk of capsular contracture.

Considerations: Slightly longer recovery, may cause “animation” (movement of the implant with chest muscle flexing).

Dual-Plane Placement

Combines both techniques: the upper part of the implant sits under the muscle, while the lower part sits under the breast tissue.

Benefits: Offers the natural look of submuscular placement while allowing better shaping of the lower breast, especially helpful for women with mild sagging. There are precautions to take with this method and it does not work for everyone.

5

Techniques

At SixSurgery, we specialize in a variety of advanced breast augmentation techniques designed to give you the best results with the least downtime. During your consultation, your surgeon will explain the pros and cons of each option and recommend the technique that best matches your body and your goals.

Tiny Scar Breast Augmentation

Our signature Tiny Scar Breast Augmentation is the most requested technique at our clinic. Using cutting-edge surgical methods, implants are placed through an incision as small as 2 cm (saline) or 2.5–3 cm (silicone). These incisions can be hidden in the breast fold, armpit, or along the areola.

Procedure time: ~30 minutes

Scar size: 50–70% smaller than traditional methods (which often leave 4–8 cm scars)

Recovery: Faster return to daily activities

This technique is ideal for women who want natural results with the smallest and most discreet scar possible.

Fat Transfer

For patients who want a modest, natural enhancement without implants, fat transfer is an excellent option. Fat is harvested from areas such as the abdomen or thighs through liposuction, then purified and injected into the breasts.

Produces a subtle increase (about half to one full cup size)

Uses your own fat for a completely natural look and feel

Provides the added benefit of body contouring in donor areas

Breast Asymmetry

Many women have uneven breasts, but for some, asymmetry is more noticeable and affects confidence. Correcting asymmetry is more complex than a standard augmentation, often requiring reconstructive-level expertise. Our surgeons, with extensive experience in breast reconstruction after cancer, use advanced techniques to create balance, symmetry, and natural proportions.

Augmentation Mastopexy

Aging, pregnancy, or weight changes can lead to sagging, loss of shape, and volume. Augmentation Mastopexy, or a breast lift with implants, addresses both concerns in one surgery.
 Best suited for women with:

Drooping or sagging breasts

Nipples or areolas pointing downward

Loss of volume and firmness

Asymmetrical breasts

This combined procedure restores perkiness, repositions the breasts, and enhances size for a rejuvenated, youthful appearance.

Bloodless Breast Augmentations

SixSurgery is one of the few clinics offering bloodless breast augmentation, a highly innovative approach that minimizes bleeding during surgery. This technique reduces swelling, bruising, and recovery time, giving patients a smoother healing process and better long-term results.

How Much Does Breast Augmentation Cost in Toronto?

The average cost of breast augmentation in Toronto ranges from $11,500 to $15,000. The price depends on factors such as the type of implant (saline vs silicone), whether additional procedures are required (such as a lift), and the surgeon’s expertise.

Comparison
Cost
Saline Implants Cost
$10,500+
Silicone Implants Cost
$12,800+
Fat Transfer Breast Augmenation
$11,300
(+ $4,800 when added to a liposuction procedure)

$13,600 – 15,600+

$11,100 – $16,100+
depending on the type of repair required

💡 Important: While cost is a factor, results are strongly tied to surgeon skill and experience. Choosing a highly qualified breast augmentation surgeon in Toronto ensures safer procedures, fewer complications, and longer-lasting results.

Breast Augmentation Cleavage

One of the most common questions patients ask is whether breast augmentation will make their cleavage narrower. The short answer: implants will not significantly change your natural cleavage spacing.

Implants are always placed directly behind the nipple.

  • If you naturally have wide-set breasts, your implants will also sit further apart.
  • If your breasts are closer together, implants will enhance fullness without unnaturally altering the gap.

Why We Don’t “Force” Cleavage
Some clinics attempt to place implants closer together to artificially narrow the cleavage. This can cause the implants to sit too close under the breast, pushing nipples outward and creating an unnatural or uneven look.

At SixSurgery, we enhance cleavage while respecting your anatomy. By aligning the implant with your existing breast tissue, we ensure results that are natural, balanced, and aesthetically pleasing.

✅ Our job is to enhance, not fabricate.

Breast Augmentation Scars

All breast augmentation procedures involve an incision, which means a scar will remain. At SixSurgery, we specialize in techniques that keep scars as small, discreet, and well-hidden as possible — often becoming virtually undetectable over time.

The size and placement of your scar will depend on:

Your natural breast anatomy

Your personal goals and desired look

The type of implant (saline or silicone)

Implant placement (above or below the chest muscle)

Implant profile and size

How We Minimize Scars

Our surgeons carefully place incisions in natural creases, folds, or along the edge of the areola, where they blend in with the skin’s natural transition. With advanced techniques such as Tiny Scar Breast Augmentation, incisions can be as small as 2–3 cm — compared to the 4–8 cm scars left by traditional methods.

The result: scars that are beautifully concealed, fade with time, and allow you to enjoy your results with confidence.

Breast Augmentation Safety

Like any surgery, breast augmentation carries some risks. At SixSurgery, patient safety is our highest priority. We use advanced techniques, certified facilities, and FDA/Health Canada–approved implants to minimize complications and ensure the smoothest recovery possible.

Potential Risks of Breast Implants

Although rare, breast implant complications can occur weeks, months, or even years after surgery. These include:

Capsular Contracture Formation
Breast Implant Infection
Implant Ruptureand Deflation

How Modern Implants Improve Safety

Today’s breast implants are safer and more durable than ever. Current generation silicone implants use an extremely strong shell with cohesive gel, often called “gummy bear implants.” This technology dramatically reduces the risk of leakage or rupture.

1 MIllion
100
Silicone gel bleed is more than 1 million times lower than FDA-established safety limits
Silicone absorption is more than 100 times less than what most people already encounter in daily products like lotions, deodorants, or haircare

Lifetime Implant Warranty

For added peace of mind, all of our implants come with a lifetime manufacturer’s warranty. If a rupture or defect occurs, you’ll receive a replacement implant at no extra cost.

✅ With proper care and a skilled surgical team, most patients experience no problems at all and continue to enjoy their results for many years.

Breast Augmentation FAQs

How many breast augmentation procedures are performed per year?

Our surgeons perform approximately 400 breast augmentations annually in Toronto, plus about 200 breast lifts with implants. This makes our team one of the most experienced in Canada, with thousands of successful surgeries completed. Dr. Jugenburg has performed thousands of procedures during his surgical career. It is one of our most requested procedure.

Do you recommend silicone or saline implants?

Both silicone and saline implants are safe and FDA/Health Canada approved.

About half of our patients choose each type.

Silicone: Softer, more natural feel

Saline: Smaller incision, lower cost, leak instantly detectable The best choice depends on your body, lifestyle, and goals.

Despite what you may have read on the Internet) and in most patients who have enough of their own breast tissue to cover the implants, you can’t tell at all who has silicone or saline. We do prefer saline because of how specific you can get in terms of sizing and the smaller scars.

Which implants do you use?

We use Allergan and Mentor implants, two of the most trusted manufacturers worldwide. Both offer multiple profiles, shapes, and textures. We also provide the Ideal Implant, a new saline-based implant that feels similar to silicone. All implants come with a lifetime warranty.

What are the risks of breast implants?

Although rare, risks may include:

Capsular contracture (scar tissue tightening around the implant)

Infection

Implant rupture or deflation

Modern implants are extremely durable and safer than ever, with very low complication rates.

How long does it take for implants to settle?

99% of implants “drop and fluff” into their final position within 3 months. In rare cases, it can take up to a year.

Should implants go over or under the muscle?

We recommend under the muscle placement for about 95% of patients because it reduces complications and provides a more natural look. Over the muscle may be recommended for women with enough tissue coverage or those seeking a fuller, rounder “augmented” appearance.

What types of incisions are used?

We use three incision options:

Inframammary (breast fold) – most common

Periareolar (around the areola)

Transaxillary (hidden in the armpit)

The best option depends on your anatomy and implant choice.

Do breast implants leave scars?

Yes, but scars are usually small and hidden in natural folds or transitions. With our Tiny Scar technique, incisions can be as little as 2–3 cm, making them virtually undetectable over time.

How long do breast implants last?

Modern implants are designed to last 10–15 years or longer. Many patients keep them for decades with no issues. All implants we use come with a lifetime warranty against rupture.

Are There Any Non-Surgical Methods to Increase Breast Size?

No, there are no proven non-surgical methods that permanently increase breast size. Your breast size is primarily controlled by genetics and hormones, which means creams, exercises, or supplements cannot replace breast augmentation.

Methods that Do Not Work:

Inframammary (breast fold) – most common

Periareolar (around the areola)

Transaxillary (hidden in the armpit)

These methods will not change breast size.

Temporary Changes That Can Happen:

Birth control pills: Some women may notice breast enlargement, while others see no change. This is unpredictable and only a side effect of hormonal fluctuations.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding: Breasts often become larger during this time but usually return to pre-pregnancy size or smaller afterward.

Weight gain: Can increase breast size since breasts are partly made of fat, but this also increases overall body fat.

👉 For long-lasting results, the only effective options are breast augmentation with implants or fat transfer breast augmentation.

How much does breast augmentation cost in Toronto?

Breast augmentation in Toronto typically ranges from $11,500 to $15,000, depending on implant type, surgeon expertise, and whether additional procedures are performed (such as a lift). See our fees page by clicking here.

Should I strengthen my pectoral muscles before breast augmentation?

No. Strengthening your chest muscles is not necessary before surgery. Building up pectoral muscles does not improve results and may actually make implant placement more difficult. Your surgeon will guide you on the best pre-surgery preparation steps.

Are there any non-surgical ways to increase breast size?

No, there are no proven non-surgical methods to permanently increase breast size. Creams, supplements, bras, massage, pumps, or exercises do not work.Temporary breast size changes can happen due to:

Hormonal fluctuations (e.g., birth control pills may cause temporary enlargement)

Periareolar (around the areola)

Transaxillary (hidden in the armpit)

For long-term, reliable results, breast augmentation or fat transfer are the only effective options.

How are you prepared to deal with medical emergencies?

We are a fully certified surgical facility equipped to handle any medical emergency, just like a hospital. In the rare case that additional care is required, patients can be transferred to nearby hospitals such as St. Michael’s (5 minutes away) or Humber Hospital, where our surgeons have active privileges to ensure seamless care.

Does the surgical fee include re-operation fees?

Yes, certain re-operations are included in your surgical fee. If you experience problems related to your procedure, we will take care of you at no extra cost.

Covered at no charge:

InframammarCorrection of deviations from the desired outcome (such as implant malposition or early capsular contracture)y (breast fold) – most common

Implant leak or rupture within the first year after surgery

Implant rupture after one year is covered by the manufacturer’s lifetime warranty (you only cover anesthesia costs)

Not included in the initial fee:

Choosing to change implant size (bigger or smaller)

Switching from saline to silicone or vice versa

Breast changes caused by pregnancy, weight fluctuations, or aging

Natural gravity-related changes over time (breasts may fall downward when standing or shift to the side when lying down)

What is the most common breast implant re-operation?

The most common re-operation is due to asymmetry when implants are placed under the muscle. Because chest muscles are naturally uneven, one implant may sit slightly higher. This is typically corrected with massage, but in rare cases, a minor adjustment may be needed.

👉 Note: Some degree of asymmetry is normal — no two breasts are ever perfectly symmetrical.

What proportion of your practice is cosmetic?

Our surgeons focus almost entirely on cosmetic breast surgery, including breast augmentation, lifts, and revisions. In addition, they maintain hospital privileges and continue to perform breast reconstruction procedures for cancer patients.
