Liposuction is a body contouring procedure that removes stubborn fat deposits from targeted areas of the body. It’s less invasive than other fat-reduction methods, making it a popular choice for patients.
Your surgeon will make a few small, discreet incisions in the treatment areas. A diluted local anesthetic is used to minimize bleeding and discomfort. A thin, hollow tube called a cannula is then inserted to loosen and remove excess fat with gentle suction.
Once the fat is removed, the area is smoothed to ensure even, natural-looking results. Compression garments or bandages are applied to reduce swelling, and small drains may be placed if necessary to reduce swelling.
At SixSurgery, we’ve performed thousands of liposuction procedures over the last two decades. With a focus on precision, safety, and beautifully natural results. Our team uses the SAFELipo technique, regarded globally as one of the most advanced methods to reduce irregularities and avoid the common signs of traditional liposuction.

Liposuction costs in Toronto typically range from $5,000 to $8,000 per area, depending on the surgeon’s expertise, clinic location, and the number of areas treated.
At SixSurgery, we offer zone-based pricing to ensure transparency and customization. Please note that any pricing seen online is only an estimate — your actual quote will be determined based on factors such as your BMI, treatment area(s), volume of fat removal, and surgical time required.

Following your procedure, it’s normal to experience swelling, bruising, and mild discomfort in the treated areas. Any pain is typically well-managed with prescribed medication and should gradually subside within a few days. Most patients are up and moving within 24 hours, with swelling continuing to improve over the following weeks.
